Susan Mann is a graduate of Oberlin Conservatory of Music with a degree in harp performance. She is a second generation professional harpist.

:LONG ISLAND HARP STUDIO is located in Western Suffolk County, Long Island, NY in the beautiful village of Northport.

· A curriculum built around the student’s goals and time schedule.

 

· A unique “Introduction to the Harp” 4-month package which includes in-home use of a lever harp*, music, strings, tuner and tuning key.  Everything students need to discover if the reality of learning to play the harp matches their dreams. This is a cost effective way to discover if harp lessons are right for you or your child.

 

· A harpist dedicated to working with orchestra directors and parents to increase performances by harp students in Suffolk County. Susan Mann has over 20 years experience performing throughout Long Island and maintains professional relationships with many of the Youth  Orchestra directors. Her students perform with their middle school and high school orchestras, Youth Orchestras, in the pit for their High School musical, talent shows, and even Carnegie Hall.

 

· Experienced in NYSSMA harp preparation Levels I—VI.  Nassau and Suffolk County BOCES certified.

 

· Two studio recital/parties a year. Fall recital features a special theme chosen by the  students.

 

· Family discount for two or more students.
